In 3rd and 4th grades, color wheels can become more complex. To review this concept, I would use literature, and dive further into color theory, by introducing Newton's discovery (relating color to music, creating the theory of color harmonies). Then, using collage, blending watercolor or pastel, and even incorporating tessellations, pointillism, or kaleidoscope designs, students can demonstrate their understanding of color theory. Writing can even be infused into the lesson in the form of Color Wheel poems!
